As we are still unable to meet in person within the church, please remember Jesus is always with us and loves each of us so much. Included are some ideas and resources to do as a family until we can meet again. We will keep you posted on new information regarding meeting dates and new resources will be added weekly.

What Happens During Holy Week?
The Final Lesson
R.E.A.L. is our Youth Group for junior high students in grades 7-8. R.E.A.L. meets each Wednesday from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Youth gather as a large group for opening videos and activities that introduce the session topic and focus. Students will spend time playing fun games that build teamwork. Youth will then go to small group to have discussion about the video or activity topic and have snacks. Students will learn about the Bible and how to apply to their own lives. Lessons will help students make connections to Jesus. Youth will come back together for a large group closing with announcements and prayer.
In February, the youth will be studying about seeing others as God see’s us. This will include seeing ourselves through God’s eyes. The You Version Bible plans study plans that support what the youth are learning are Serving God and Others and 31 Days of Serving God.
Confirmation Class for youth in 8th grade and up is meeting with Rev. Mike in the Ignite youth room during the Sunday School hour from 9:15-10:15.
What is it and why is it important? Confirmation class teaches the content and meaning of the Christian faith, our Methodist history and beliefs, and our role as professing members within our Dwight UMC family.
In addition to learning about their faith, the Confirmands must also experience their faith and have a sense of how to live as a disciple of Jesus Christ. They do this by being fully engaged in the life of the church by attending and participating in worship, working alongside other Christians in service of God and neighbor, participating in Christian education, have relationships with other Christians, and by actively supporting the ministries of the church.
Registration is still open for R.E.A.L.
