Kid’s Club meets each Wednesday through the school year for students in Kindergarten through 4th grades. Children begin with a large group opening of songs, videos, games, and the overall Bible lesson. Students then break into age based groups of K, 1-2, 3-4 for snacks and small group activities. The children learn Bible stories that all lead to making connections to Jesus. Children come back together for a large group closing of worship with high energy songs of praise.

Kid’s Klub is underway! Our theme for the year is “Be Like Jesus!” We are focusing on how much God loves us and how much God wants us to love him. Our first unit is “Animal Tales” which features important animals of the Bible. The animals include the snake, the pig, the donkey, the lamb, the camel, and the lion. We are also focusing on worship, what worship is, why we worship, and what worship looks like.
Kids Klub and R.E.A.L Kids is starting a family Bible reading plan. Once each month, children will get a list of Bible stories to read with their families for the month. The plan helps children and families learn about key events and people in the Bible and why they are important. If families are in need of Bibles to help do the plan, they are welcome to contact Stacey Stefanski at email@example.com or Joyce Nelson at firstname.lastname@example.org and DUMC will assist in providing Bibles. Here’s this week’s reading if you’d like to join us in the plan, October 16th-October 22nd – Sarah’s Story, Genesis 18 1:15, 21: 1-6.
Meet, Greet, and Eat- was held on Wednesday, October 16th from 6:30-8:00 pm
Over 80 children, families, leaders, and helpers attended the 4th Annual Meet, Greet, and Eat. Children were greeted by Skittles, a character in our videos. As families gathered, a slide show played that showed Kids Klub and R.E.A.L Kids in action. A light dinner was served and a short program followed that showed what happens during Kids Klub. There was a skit performed by the Kids Klub Players. The evening concluded with families taking a tour of their children’s classes and doing some activities together in the classrooms.
Thank you to all leaders and extra helpers for all their extra time and service to make this event successful! Thank you for valuing and prioritizing this important ministry.
